This file box is durable and worth the money with its two closure locks and sturdy handle. Cheaper models had a single locking clasp that broke the first time it was locked.

I have purchased 2 similar products made by another manufacture. On both of them, the large, single locking mechanism failed fairly quickly. I am hoping that the dual mechanism holds up better. I guess time will tell. Overall it seems flimsier than the previous product, but it stays in one place, so shouldn't be subjected to any unusual conditions.The product arrives quickly and underaged in an even flimsier cardboard box.

This is a decent file box but I do not consider it very portable. It does close but the latch does not stay closed very well, it is pretty loose.

I made this my designer portable file box, with some gold-on-black leaf-design interior file folders in black hanging folders. Looks great. Box seems sturdy. A bit shiny. My only concern might be whether the clasps will stand up to a lot of opening and closing. I think they'll be fine as long as I'm reasonably careful with them. I'd buy again. Better looking than anything else of this size that I saw when shopping.

So far, so good. Its a hard case, so this will work good in my truck where things get beat up a bit. I was happily surprised that it came with a few hanging folders too. I'm really happy with the purchase, but as usual I feel its a bit on the expensive end - it should be $5 less. But you'll be happy with it.

This is a good quality storage box. I like the locking tabs on top of the box as they seem more sturdy than the one tab versions. Also the overall construction of this box seems more sturdy than some of the thinner wall versions. Not sure how durable it will do on a drop test but I would think that any normal person would not be throwing these types of things around.

You're probably wondering How low quality could a box with two latches and a handle possibly be? The answer is: really, really, shockingly low quality. The only thing this box needs to do is hold documents and latch closed, and it literally cannot even do that. As other reviews have mentioned, the pins that secure the latches come loose by so much as breathing on them, causing the latching mechanism to never catch, thus the lid won't stay shut. You can't close it... meaning you cant carry it around by the handle. Those pins will fall out repeatedly and the absurdly cheap plastic will crack apart as quickly as you can put paperwork inside of it. Spare yourself the frustration and purchase one thats even just $5 more, so you can CLOSE IT AND MOVE IT. A cardboard box would have been a better investment.
