Programs: History and culture - operates a museum and provides tours and lectures on the history and culture of the sea island african americans.

pace program for academic and cultural enrichment provides sea island residents ages 6-13 yoa with homework assistance and a curriculum centered on the sea island heritage, provided child care services for 6 months - 5 yoa and after school and summer camp; team leadership for 6-18 yoa.

conference center provides food, lodging and conference center facilities for vistors to the penn center and program participants.
