I use a sliding rack tray to hold an audio mixer in place in my traveling gig rack. My wife and I entertain at various clubs and restaurants in our area, and we bring our own sound system so portability is important. I bought another brand sliding tray and it fell apart, with the ball bearings rolling away and the tray freezing in an open position. This one is rated up to 41 lbs. and it rolls smooth and true with my 22 lb. mixer on it.

I went with a different shelf 1st time around, that ended up taking up an entire rack space by itself, then found this one witch completely utilizes the space it takes up

Very Adjustable. Has positive stops / detents in closed position. I overlapped the mounting brackets to make it fit in a 17.534; deep Navepoint rack.

Sqeaks pretty loudly when sliding the shelf out. Drives me nuts, but I luckily don't have slide it open very often.

Oddly, no mounting hardware and the bracket holes do not exactly line up with our rack. But I'm sure some elbow grease and a power drill will get this done.
