Mission: To promote human advancement by engaging the poor in rural Guatemala through health, education and community development to effect long term change in families and their communities.
Results: Over 600 patients are treated each month in our 2 medical/dental clinics, 101 students are receiving scholarships to attend junior high, high school, and college6,000 families have received Chapina stovescompleted 33 village water projects providing running water for over 19,000 peopleimproved 71 schools in remote villages in San Martin, Jilotepeque.
Target demographics: improve health and education of the Maya living in remote villages
Direct beneficiaries per year: In 2021,5,392 patients visits, 100 scholarship students, 350 families received a Chapina stove, and 170 students attended classes at the Learning & Skills Center
