Mission: PERCEPTION INTERNATIONAL is dedicated to the concept that, just as biodiversity is necessary for the survival of the environment, different ways of perceiving reality are essential for the survival of the human species and other species as well. In keeping with this belief, we focus on educating the public through communication and media. In addition Perception has run projects on the ground that work with indigenous peoples, further environmental and wildlife conservation, and help adults and youth around the globe show and share their perceptions and visions. We believe that new and cutting-edge ways of perceiving and exploring lead to creative solutions to the many problems that face our planet and societies today. One of our primary goals is to disseminate these new perspectives and create a place where non-experts can share their perceptions and views on how to inter-relate, whether it be among people, people and other species, or people and the cosmos. Our projects use artistic and educational mediums such as an online interactive magazine, global explorations, research, video, photography, and workshops to attain our mission.

Results: We have shared the stories of people and of those species who cannot speak for themselves for over a decade, empowering people and saving species in the process. And we also have been a fiscal sponsor to many on the ground projects such as The Alta Solar Project, which brings solar light to villages in Ladakh. www. voicesforbiodiversity. org;www. rwandaproject. org;www. altasolarproject. com
