Seems like people do not understand how to use Contact Cement. Have to apply adhesive on both sides of the object to be bonded. Wait a good few minutes when tacky dry adhere both pieces. It will not come apart. This stuff Is the Best if used properly. Perfect for small jobs.

Had a pair of wedges with cotton fabric on sides that started to come off. Cobbler suggested this to repair vs his $100 repair. Crazy glue did not work. This did the job. Just follow directions and you have a great seal.

I use this product once and then stored it in a cool dry place with the cap securely on and I even put it back in the original packaging. Went to use it about a year later and the tube was completely dried up.

I literally bought this cement on the advice of cosplayers who said it was good to glue foam board together. It is NOT! I spread it on the inside of the foam board, intending to adhere it to an identical piece of foam board in the same shape, and it started melting my foam. Might be good for other stuff, but I’ll stick to wood glue, plastic glue and Duco cement

I bought this product because unfortunately a cork was coming off one of the tendons of my clarinet, it worked perfectly. There's no smell the hold is great now granted I used this contact cement maybe about 2 weeks ago and it's still holding strong, holding the cork in place on my clarinet. I highly recommend this product.. the only drawback is that it's kind of watery so you have to be careful when you're applying but it's easily cleaned up if you do it immediately.
