I used this product to fix a side mirror on a 2010 subaru outback. For whatever reason, subaru decided not to use folding mirrors on this model (at least mine anyway). So while driving forward through an atm line at a scumbag bank im never going back too. There was a pothole i didnt see and these 2 yellow poles. I was close to the poles but, the pothole moved my car down n to the side slightly. Just enough to catch the mirror and it put a little crack down the side of it.So I looked up ways to fix it.I initially used a hot iron for soldering, and that seemed to work, but looked terrible.A week later that did not hold.So I got this.I moxed up a little bit, smells absolutely horrific. Worst smelling product ever.I didnt let the smell deter. Even though my senses were screaming; dont breathe this in. Fortunately, the effects of the chemicals pouring from this magical mixture, going straight to the dome, were such that I had no ability to control all motor skills. Life was bleak. The world went dark for a moment. Silence is usually tranquil, except for when you think its the end. Then, I opened the garage door to the safety of my neighbor grilling out, which eventually was enough to make me realize how hungey I was, man was I hungry. Also brought in some welcomed fresh air.Next, I apply this magic paste. It was not easy to make it look uniform at all. So I applied it the best I could. Held it together with a vice grip style lock for a about a min. Slowly let it go to realize it did take.Wainted it out for a min.The next results: very nice. This stuff cures like concrete. I mean no difference between the original plastic and this. Its absolutely amazing stuff. It works and it saved the day for me as im not interested in buying a side mirror for my 2010 outback that is basically a highway work vehicle.I will absolutely use this product again.I kinda wish they made even smaller packs of this stuff as this was waaaay more than needed and although it does come with a cap to place on the end when finished, it conveniently doesnt fit well. My assumption is so when you go to use it again, it'll probably not be good. Time will tell.Anyway, its been about 2 or 3 weeks now and its holding up perfectly and i drive about 70 to 75 mph everyday, to and from work 36 miles 1 way. This stuff works great. It actually cures to about the same color as the original black mirror was, so its not a very obvious eyesore.
