Mission: We believe that the special bond between pet and owner should never be broken because of a financial or medical crisis; that no pet will ever be surrendered, abandoned, die at home or be euthanized solely because its owner could not afford urgent or emergency veterinary care. Furthermore, we want to help end 'economic euthanasia' and 'economic amputation'. . . the removal of a limb solely because an owner cannot afford to have the limb plated or pinned.
