Mission: Our foremost mission is to save lives, provide a sanctuary, transport animals, and provide animal assisted therapies. As animal stewards, it's our priority that all animals be treated with dignity and compassion. First, I have to mention that I have an issue with the format of GuideStar. When our rescue group needs to fire an employee, they don't always take responsibility for their mistakes and then they attack our rescue on this site to try to hurt us personally. This is slanderous, leads to falsehoods, and is highly inflammatory. It is misleading to the public, and may hurt our rescue efforts. We will not tolerate harassment, slander, etc. OUR STATEMENT OF PURPOSE is to rescue horses, dogs, and cats, rehabilitate, if necessary, and match these animals with stable and loving people/families. It is also our purpose to educate the public on proper animal care and training through various informational events. We have an application process and an adoption agreement that the adoptee must adhere to. If the adoption does not work out for any reason, Pet Place International, Inc. will take the animal back to be re-homed appropriately. Our goal is to find loving homes where adopted animals will be well-cared for. Our goal is to save animals from shelters, (especially those scheduled for euthanization), or from neglectful and/or abusive homes. Results: Over 2,000 animals, (dogs, cats, and horses) have been rescued from shelters, cared for and placed into loving forever homes. PPI's 3-M Program is well under way. Our (rescued) certified therapy dogs will help those suffering with PTSD, children will special needs, and senior citizens. People helping animals and animals helping people is our mission.
