Mission: Out Mission is to decrease pet homelessness, increase pet retention and improve the quality of life for pets through education and supportive services for families in need. Our Vision: To provide resources for pet owners to keep pets out of shelters, off the streets and in homes with the owners who love them. Our Philosophy: We pride ourselves in acknowledging our diverse community with a nonjudgmental and compassionate approach. Our programs target families who need assistance with education, wellness and resources to help their pets live a long, healthy and happy life. Our Position: Spay and Neuter Kansas City is the only targeted spay neuter program in the Greater Kansas City area working to help all families regardless of financial means. Our unique approach is to provide exceptional customer service and high standards of care through commitment to our core values.

Results: Our efforts:Save lives by eliminating unwanted litters and pet homelessness;Improve the quality of lives of pets;Increases pet retention by keeping animals in their homes with the families who love them;Reduce shelter intake;Save local municipalities future incurring costs;Make long term impacts in our community;Have led to a decrease in euthanasia of animals in the Kansas City area;Make long term impacts in our community. We have performed over 80,000 spay/neuter surgeries to date.
