This is a good tug toy, it's not a chew toy. I like the felt vrs rope because dogs tend to pull the stands of rope out and swallow them. As far as this toy goes, for supervised tug play with you dog its great

Got a pup and this toy has lasted cuz puppies like to chew up their toys. Not only is this a great tug toy but even when he just wants to mouth it or chew on it the material doesn't fray. It lasts!

This is a really good toy however the key thing to keep in mind is that this is interactive, meaning that you never leave your dog alone with this. It will be destroyed in minutes if so. It has been a favorite toy in the rotation to play with and is throwable since it has the ball attached. I have a 5 month old German shepherd / Rhodesian ridgeback mix, and she is a huge chewer. This toy has been great as a game and training tool, but the moment I looked away she pulled out a strand which was my bad entirely as I'm aware that these toys are not chew toys, however I still rated it one star below because after a few uses the knot at the end keeping the braid in place was getting a little loose. Overall though this has been a fun toy.

This is my puppy's (mini golden doodle) favorite toy. At first I wasn't sure the braided felt will hold up, but it has held up really well! It's not as hard as the rope toys and is long enough for my young daughter to play with the dogs without fear of getting bitten by accident. This is the only toy the puppy will bring to us to play.

I love how long this is, because it saves my back vs using other tug toys with the dog. This isn't one I would leave him unsupervised with, because it can come apart, and even with just tug games and total supervision, a few of the strands have come loose. They are easy to tie back, but you have to watch for that. Other than that? It is a great toy and the price was right.

My pup loves this tug toy and I find it easy to use. It is soft enough to not bite into my hands when we are playing and she can grip it easily. As long as it isn't left out as a chew toy it should last a very long time. I withheld one star for the nasty baby-powderish fragrance that came with it. If I had known that there was a fragrance added I wouldn't have purchased it. I am going to throw it in the wash and see if I can get rid of the gross smell, but I am annoyed that I should have to do so.

I keep this tucked away only use it for special interactive play with my 2 Jack Russells. It isn't something to just let them play with alone, as it would be chewed up pulled apart. But as an interactive toy, where I dangle it they each grab an end hang on while I keep hold in the middle lead them around, it is the toy they get the most excited about!! It is also useful for training as I give the release command, do a few other training commands, then reward them with another round of TUG TUG! Great dog toy!!

Our new puppy (8 mos.) loves this toy. He and loves his fo(u)rever home and news toys have made him feel even more welcome. I like this toy because he can just enjoy chewing on it or he can play tug with it. Nice product and not at all harsh on his baby mouth LOL.

As a professional dog trainer I show clients how to use this interactive toy to play w young puppies. Helps prevent play biting hands, can be used to teach pup retrieval drop it commands. Just be sure to put it out of pup's reach unless you're playing with it too. Pup will likely shred the fleece fabric, just like a stuffed animal.

Bought this for my 9 week old Corgi puppy and she loves it! Also helps as it's pretty long and she's so short, so you don't need to get down on her level. She's a pretty aggressive biter too and it's been holding up perfectly fine.

Dog loves this toy - easy to work him more than us with its length. It's a toy that would be functional even if it started showing wear, but hasn't ripped or torn at all yet.

Our pup loves this toy. Nice combination of tug-of-war and throw toy. Whereas she has torn apart other toys, this one shows a bit of wear but just keeps going.

The braiding doesn't stay intact for very long but my dog absolutely loves the toy. I have bought several back ups for when the first one finally wears out. We play with it a lot!

This works great. The ball on the handle keeps the rope in place on a door handle. My puppy grabs it and plays tug a war anytime he likes without my holding it. Would work great traditionally too. At first it looked too big/ long for my puppy but works for him and would work for grown dogs too
