I have 2 German Shepherd Dogs (1- 9.5 years old the other 5.5 Months old) that like to play Tug of War with this - and they Have NOT Destroyed it (YET) and I have had it for a couple of months now...That in itself speaks to the sturdiness...The puppy also plays with it by himself and throws it around...Good Toy and fairly inexpensive !!

This is a really good toy however the key thing to keep in mind is that this is interactive, meaning that you never leave your dog alone with this. It will be destroyed in minutes if so. It has been a favorite toy in the rotation to play with and is throwable since it has the ball attached. I have a 5 month old German shepherd / Rhodesian ridgeback mix, and she is a huge chewer. This toy has been great as a game and training tool, but the moment I looked away she pulled out a strand which was my bad entirely as I'm aware that these toys are not chew toys, however I still rated it one star below because after a few uses the knot at the end keeping the braid in place was getting a little loose. Overall though this has been a fun toy.

My pup loves this tug toy and I find it easy to use. It is soft enough to not bite into my hands when we are playing and she can grip it easily. As long as it isn't left out as a chew toy it should last a very long time. I withheld one star for the nasty baby-powderish fragrance that came with it. If I had known that there was a fragrance added I wouldn't have purchased it. I am going to throw it in the wash and see if I can get rid of the gross smell, but I am annoyed that I should have to do so.

my golden retriever puppy loves this and it is holding up very well. it is nice and long so she can tug with me and her canine sister at the same time!

My dog chews up toys, especially those with rope. This material really does seem to last longer and it's played with every day. And the remaining chewed off pieces are easier to clean up compared to rope.

My pit loves this toy .... I instantly thought when 1st opening it would not last but is great for tug a war ... but I do not let her play with it alone ... she would shred it fast alone I think but it works very very well when we are playing good stretch... 2 weeks in so far ... that's a long time in pit toys

dogs love to chase and tug with it... very strong

The fabric is tore apart pretty easy but for the price you can't beat it. Great for a small dog or puppy! I'd buy it again.
