Mission: Piedmont Wildlife Center is a non-profit environmental organization encouraging conservation and inspiring people to build lifelong connections with nature through immersive outdoor education, citizen science, and wildlife stewardship.
Results: During our 2021-22 fiscal year, we:- Served 1,884 campers at 61 camp sessions- Introduced 7,062 conservation program participants to wildlife- Awarded $10,721 in camp scholarships- Connected 275 students at Title 1 schools to nature

Programs: Immersive outdoor education programs (summer camps, Homeschool in the Wild, Wild for a Day single-day camps, intersession camps, teen backpacking trips); wildlife education programs (at-school programs, tours, animal encounters, field trips, birthday parties); and citizen science projects (Triangle Turtle Trekkers, on-site box turtle research, Turtle Trek small group programs).
