Biggest issue is that there is no good way to keep these exposed to the water flowing into or out of the filter in an inflatable hot tub. Best you can do is zip tie them to the filter case or just let them roll around in the tub. They do keep the water nicer longer, and reduce the amount of chlorine or bromine needed. Overall these are OK, but the small cylindrical blue kind are better (those include activated carbon)

I like that it was easy to use and install. Seriously easy.That said, not sure how well it works, as I've only recently installed it and my tub is relatively new. My tub has 2 pumps/filters, and the other pump already had one, so now my tub has two. I also bought this based on the consistency of the previous reviews and the inconsistency of the reviews on lower cost/no brand name alternatives to ensure mine stayed clean and sanitized.Zero complaints about this purchase.
