the filters do what they are suppose to do. i use them as a pre-filter and they do a nice job of filtering the water before it goes thru my pump.

This filter material is just average. Compared to Matala, it just doesn't make the grade. I have it in a small waterfall, and it will do the trick, but needs cleaning fairly often and looks like it won't last more than a season.

This was an exact replacement for the PondMaster 1000. Price was about half of other retailers. Like others have mentioned this only comes with the large square white and the large square carbon filter.

This works perfectly for my filtration system. I can use one filter for two seasons if I keep it clean (I clean it every week or two at most to stay on top of things). I use rocks to weigh down the filtration box.

I order these replacement filters every few months (in the summer) and they have always worked well. I use the filter along with a uv light and together I have a clean pond and am very pleased.
