I've used this brand for 15 years and this one is the best one I've bought. It come with a cage filter that catches the large stuff but chews through the smaller stuff to keep the water flowing.

Works very well just installed it. Had one before that lasted years until the impeller failed.

I used this pump for the entire summer, and fall, never turning off, and it worked flawlessly. Didn't notice any huge uptick in energy usage. I purchased the higher flow for a smaller pond/waterfall, and very pleased with it's output. Highly recommend.

Way cheaper than one that I had. Plenty powerful for most ponds.

These are good pumps but I had to return this one and order another because I didn't pay attention to the fact that they make about 6 pumps with different GPH and connection sizes.

Easy to install, great value and works great

Previously I had a 1,200 GPH pump and replaced it with this model, a 950 GPH and it fit perfectly! Very happy with the way it's been working since it was installed.

We have had a 100 gallon cabinet built in saltwater aquarium for almost 30 years now. The original pumps were always good and long lasting. Yet that latter manufacturer (Rainbow Lifeguard) no longer produces their smaller 5 inch length Quiet One pump. Having purchased several backup pumps over the years we were now on our last one. That finally went out a month ago. The problem would be to locate a similar size and GPH pump as the configuration of our originally built set up had a limited pump space area next to the wet dry sump filter below the aquarium. Fortunately this Danner 950 GPH pump was available and fit perfectly with their smaller 5 inch length, yet also being powerful. This new pump is just as quiet as the originals. It also seems to be the last such sized pump on the market today. The pump works great and actually seems to be improving the water quality given its significant GPH power. We have also seen an overall algae reduction. We highly recommend this pump and great find. Let's just hope Danner keeps manufacturing this size pump model.

Its Great!! for my Needs.

This is the second pump we have bought, it replaced the same one as before. Lasted years running the large 1.5 foot deep and 12 feet across fountain. These pumps replaced one that cost 350 much better price here than special order the original pump

This is the fourth time we have purchased a Danner pump for our fish ponds. This one is an upgrade to this more powerful pump because we wanted increased waterflow in one of our ponds, and it did not disappoint. We have found these Danner pumps to be easy to use, easy to clean, durable, and very reliable pump. Reasonably priced for the quality. The very first Danner pump we purchased ran well nonstop for about 7 seasons before giving us any trouble. Our other three pumps still run very well, although this largest one has only run for about one month before our pulling it and prepping ponds for the colder weather. Looking forward to same great performance next year when weather turns warm again. Will try to remember to update review next fall...

I have used Danner water pumps and air pump for years. Lasts a long time. Water pump was actually a backup for 600 gal. Pond. Replaced parts in air pump. Really easy. I will always buy Danner.
