Inexpensive..use it in a 170 gallon Hotsprings hotspot spa.Since a seasonal item (?) I was unable to find one at Walmart and these things shouldn't be overpriced but they would be if I went to a Spa Store.

My hot tub has built-in mineral and chlorine cartridges. Mineral cartridge lasts about 4 months, chlorine cartridge only lasts about a month. Water turns yellow or cloudy when the chlorine cartridge runs out - with no real advance warning. So I bought this floater - when the water turns color, I toss this floater (with one or two chlorine tablets) into the hot tub, then replace the built-in chlorine cartridge. The water color clears up within a day, then I pull the floater out and dry it for future use.I think this floater would also work fine as the main chlorine source for a hot tub, but, as noted above, I'm not using it that way since my hot tub has built in cartridges.

The dispenser is made pretty well, but the instructions for adjusting the feeder are not clear. There is a ring under the floating top that you should loosen to see the numbers on the neck. After turning the neck to desired number tighten the ring.Other than that it seems to work well.

Better than some of the other dispensers I have bought. Would have given it 5 stars but once you tighten the screw on cap it is really difficult to get it off after a couple of days in the water.

Had a terrible time maintaining correct chlorine levels in our tub and this contraption works perfect. Not too big for a tub and is adjustable opening helps regulate the dissolve rate of your tabs. Would buy again.

This is a very sturdy product and easy to use. The instructions need improvement. Specifically the adjustment. The numbers are on the screw part of the top and get adjusted to the bottom of the locking ring. While part of this is noted in the instructions the location of the adjustment numbers is not. They are the same color plastic and not readily visible. Watch the videos if you have trouble locating the numbers.

Would love it but the top of mine comes off sometimes and I find it underwater instead of floating like it's supposed to. My guess is a design or manufacturing issue that the top doesn't snap closed firmly enough.Otherwise I really like it: sturdy, functional (when top stays on/shut). Now that I think about it, the only way to add the chemical tablets is unscrewing it all the way - not a big deal but would be better if there was a quicker way.

I fail to see any of the problems mentioned in the few negative reviews. It works well as intended. Loads easily from the bottom without loosening or changing the adjustment. It is being used in a hot tub with no UV exposure.
