Mission: The Port Aransas Art Center is a community of artists and art patrons who value art and who are dedicated to fostering and supporting the creative process that is art. The Center provides time, space, resources and art education for an ever-increasing audience. The Port Aransas Art Center is solely supported by charitable donations, member artist sales in the gift shop, and art classes for all age groups.

Results: One of our many achievements is the construction of a spacious new facility to house the Port Aransas Art Center. Opened in late summer, 2017, the new building has received rave reviews.

Programs: art classes taught by expert instructors (and for all ages and experience levels), workshops (more extensive art classes), the sale of works of art by artists in our gift shop, art exhibitions (including exhibitions by students of the Port Aransas Independent School District), and a wide variety of special events held year round that help foster an appreciation of the arts, and that help build community and support.
