It just works as advertised, veryight and slim/portable, has all the ports most road warriors could need.

I just bought a new Mac and it didn't come with this device. This is perfect...exactly what I needed!

BROKE after 1 month usage

All other aspects of this hub/adapter are working (HDMI, USB, etc.) except for the ethernet port. The whole reason I purchased this was for hardwired internet to my MacBook Pro. I have another USB-C to RJ45 device that works on my MacBook with the same router/ethernet cable.However, I wanted a hub with an ethernet port as well as all those other ports. When I plug the ethernet cable into the hub, the light on the port is amber. It should be green. Like I said, I have another dongle that just has a single ethernet port which I plug into my Mac and it works fine. Light is green and my connection is good. It's just the ethernet port on this hub that isn't working.UPDATEAfter trying the port again with the same ethernet cable, I am now able to have a wired internet connection on my Mac. It just started working this time. I did nothing different, as the cable was seated comfortably in the port before. The light is still amber on the adapter ethernet port, with an annoying and continuously flashing white light. It appears to be working properly, for now.

UPDATEAfter cooling down overnight, the hub began working again. I do believe this may be the same overheating issue that others are seeing. I've taken steps to move it out of any direct sunlight hitting my desk, as that may have been adding to the problem.Upgrading to three stars but will revisit if it continues to have issues.Purchased in January, worked fine until last night. I updated to Monterey 12.4 and now it refuses to work with my laptop. Incredibly frustrating and I will be looking to get my money back. It has been babied and barely used and has never left my desk, there is absolutely no reason for it to suddenly stop working. Garbage.

Although it works fine now, let's see how it does next year as Apple somehow knows when a non Apple dongle is in use and sometimes manages to render it useless!

I've had several brands and sizes of this type of product. This one ranks up there with the best. I've had it for several months now and it's traveled with me a lot. Super sturdy and reliable. No issues to report. Recommend for anyone.

So glad I got this. I have a MacBook Pro and this makes things so much easier. I use it to connect a second monitor and each the Ethernet cable when Wi-Fi gets spotty. A must for have in my opinion
