I am using this as an equipment bag for a large microphone input snake. It is definitely large enough the material is thin. I searched for large equipment duffle bag with padding, so assumed it would be thicker. That said, it is doing the job that I bought it for. There have been no rips or runs, so although thinner than I hoped for, the material is durable.

This thing is giant. I can easily put 2 fully stuffed backpacks in it and then check it at the airport

For the price, I thought this duffel would be thin material and cheaply made, but I was pleasantly surprised. It has a heavy duty zipper and sturdy material. I don't know if it will stand up to airline abuse, but for light to medium duty use, it should last a long time.

I used this bag twice as luggage on flights overseas to transport snowshoes, books and household items. Held 50 pounds nicely and still looks brand new. I lined the bottom and sides with cardboard to lend stability to the bag and used luggage straps to secure the long carrying handles. Very happy with this bag.

Like the size, wish it had wheels or a tall strap. It is sturdy for travelling, can hold alot.

I bought this for storage not traveling, but this bag is HUGE, sturdy well made. It will depend on what you're carrying in the bag but I'm guessing if you don't misuse it, the bag will serve you well.

I use it to carry all my dog grooming equipment, and it all fits in there. The matetial is very strong too... Holding almost 90lbs with this bag.
