Mission: Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) is a national non-profit founded at Stanford University in 1998 with the mission to serve as a catalyst for a positive youth sports culture in communities across the United States.

In more than two decades of work, PCA expanded from a small local nonprofit to a strong, nationwide organization that provides programming in all 50 states. PCA has now partnered with roughly 3,500 schools and youth sports organizations nationwide to deliver more than 20,000 live group workshops, reaching more than 20 million youth.

PCA's Double-Goal Coach® curriculum helps coaches adopt the model that the first goal is winning and the second, more important goal is teaching life lessons through sports. PCA material for Second-Goal Parent® trains parents to focus on children's life lessons and not the scoreboard. PCA's Triple-Impact Competitor® program develops youth who are committed to improving themselves, their teammates and their sport as a whole.

Positive Coaching Alliance is a 501(c)(3) organization, with an IRS ruling year of 1999, and donations are tax-deductible.
