I was not a boy scout, obviously being a woman. But that doesn't mean I don't need to tie a hitch here and there. This very portable, easily stowed packet is great to refresh the memory in a pinch. It will easily fit in the glove compartment of your car or stash in a backpack for hiking.

I purchased this cause you just never know when you'll need to know some knots. For $5 I thought it was worth the purchase. Other reviews have listed the knots included. It seems durable, portable, instructions are mostly easily understood, and a range of knots for different purposes included. All the knots have recommend uses and which ones shouldn't be trusted in certain situations, very useful information. I debated but ended up taking one star off. There are a couple knots that are more difficult to understand from the pictures (figure 8 is one I remember). Depending on how you open up the cards, it can be difficult to read instructions, they have to be opened up a certain way. A couple knots seem kind of repetitive and perhaps different knots could be included instead. 'Outdoor' is quite general so there might some knots included that you don't need and/or others excluded that you do. Overall, I think it's a good thing to have around if don't know your knots and priced well. A good range of knots as stated from other reviewers.

This is great! Very compact, sturdy, and tells you exactly as much information as you need to know. How to tie the knot, and why you would use it. Won't go camping without it!

Knot to worry ..... you will never be without the knots you need. LOL

It's completely waterproof and durable and it doesn't take up a lot of space. I keep it in the dash of the boat just in case. I'm thinking I might get another one to keep in the bin with my camping gear.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Something small and waterproof with basic knots. I have a really hard time remembering how to tie anything other than a basic knot, so this will be very helpful while camping.

Do you really need it? seriously... either learn some knots or look em up online and print em off!. i got these after thinking I was gunna become a mountain man but then realized how seldom I actual use any of the knots because normal people just use tools or clips to do things... Eventually i learned the knots to memory too so I don't need the cards... Regardless I do enjoy having them but often question why and when i'll actually need to reference them... These knots would be great for a youngster or an uneducated mofo that wants to learn some knots.

This arrived just in time for camping trip. Myself and my boys spent a lot of time practicing our knots. They came in real handy when a windstorm hit and we had to reinforce the tent. All the useful knots are included. Nice cards and the print did not wear off...I even tried to scratch with my fingernail to test. Great for EDC or camping/hiking gear. Will buy more for gifts and EDC bags.
