Mission: Pro Mujer (PM) is a leading women’s development organization in Latin America with a mission to empower underserved women to realize their full potential. PM pioneered an integrated approach model providing access to financial services and education with preventive healthcare services to help low-income women and their families achieve economic independence and thrive. The majority of services are delivered at our centers, fostering community building and trust among clients. PM also ensures all have access by extending services directly within the homes and businesses of the women we serve, even in the most remote regions.

Results: Since our founding in 1990, PM has disbursed $3 billion micro-loans and 8 million health interventions transforming the lives of low-income women and their families. Currently, PM serves approximately 250,000 women annually in six countries: Bolivia, Nicaragua, Mexico, Argentina, Peru and Guatemala, with international headquarters in New York City. By listening and engaging with the women we serve, PM designs services that best meet their needs, to improve and transform their lives, their families and communities.
