Works better than my older one from 5 years ago. The finer mesh catches a lot more of the oil.Still somewhat difficult to clean well but saves a lot of time by keeping the oil mostly in the pan.

This is a keeper! I waited a few months to write a review. It is holding up well! No rust and not flimsy. I took a pic of it holding my full water cup and you can see it doesn't sag. Used regularly for frying meats like bacon or hamburger.

We have used it to catch splatter, and to cover a hot dish until it cools down(keeps any flying insects out). It works great for both. Very sturdy.

I was tired of always cleaning up grease spatter on my glass stovetop, and getting hot grease spatter on ME while I be impatient and watch my things cook. This product works as intended and while you do need to take it off occasionally to tend to the food, opening up those opportunities for grease/oil to do it's thing, this cuts down on the cleanup a lot. It's easy enough to clean: I usually hit it with a little soapy water from a spray bottle right after using it and then a light scrub with a sponge under running water and it's good to go for next time.

Works great as splatter guard. Good quality. It's does double duty at picnics to cover potato salad bowl and other food too keep flies off of food.

I have to say this is a very durable study splatter protector. I used to buy those cheap 3 packs that would fall apart. This was well worth the money. Since then I've joined Pampered Chef found one that flips open on both sides which is a game changer!!

Save your money! This is total garbage. I bought this because I wanted a splatter guard for stove top cooking. The first time I used it, within just a couple of minutes, the heat from cooking, burnt several areas of the mesh and turned them black and purple. This is the sign of cheap metal and poor quality construction.Any good splatter guard should be able to withstand at least 400-500F temps without burning or discoloring.I threw this in the trash before my meal even finished cooking. This was a waste my money and time buying it.

Perfect size(13 inch) stainless grease splatter prevention. I use it on 90 percent of what I cook in my cast iron skillet. I like that it also doubles as a trivit so I dont have to put hot pan on a towel or oven mit
