I have several monitors in my home, place to place. They all are different, and all are almost 100 in agreement 99.9 of the time. I am very pleased with this monitor, its price, display and functionality.

The pulse ox had been giving me problems for a couple of months. I would use it and then remove my finger and it would go off, but then it would just turn back on. Off and on off and on until I removed the batteries, and even then I would have to remove them for 6-8 hours because if I put them back in too soon it would just start doing it all over again. Then today I turned it on and it just wouldn’t work. Tried changing the batteries to no avail. Just glitched a lot. The readings (when it worked) were good, but it just died on me in less than a year.

In using this a few times, it is not as easy to use or to read. It is counter-intuitive. For example, if you are taking a read for your oxygen levels yourself, when you sit down and look at the results from where you are, as your finger is inserted, it is upside down. At first glance, it therefore tells me my oxygen level is 66. (If it were, I should be on my way to ICU or the morgue). In reality it was 99 but I had to take my finger out and turn the oximeter around to get the correct reading. We also found it to be inconsistent in reading body info, For example, if your finger is in too far or not far enough, you will not get a reading. For the price, I expected much more. I found the cheaper ones worked as well if not better. I will be sending this back.

I thought this pulse ox would work better on people with cold fingers as I saw on some of the reviews, but this one does not. It reads very slow and is not worth the cost.

I needed if for a recent illness and it’s pretty accurate I compared to my doctor visit, twice we did it and it was a smidge different the first time perfect the second.
