I love this umbrella. I use it for rain, of course, but mostly to keep the blazing Florida sun off me while waiting for school bus pick up. It's huge, a little heavier than a normal size umbrella. It serves the purpose.

Out in the sun on a hot day this thing creates its own little biosphere that's noticeably cooler than the surrounding area.

Needed this for the 4th of July Parade here in Kailua, Oahu, HI. I stayed cool and even if the breeze was a bit stiff occasionally, it didn't turn inside out.

As an educator, I go to the playground a lot during the week, and this umbrella was a life saver. I used it for the sun protection as well as wind protection. It was 10-15 degrees cooler under this umbrella during those hot afternoons. I would definitely recommend this product for anyone who goes outside for any length of time. The size is large which I loved, but might be harder for people walking on crowded streets -- so I would recommend the next smaller size for that environment.

I love my sunbrella! I use it all the time to protect my sensitive skin. I love that I don't have to put sunscreen all the time, instead I use my sunbrella! I carry it in my car and have it whenever I need it and have gotten lots of compliments on it. My kids love to use it too because it keeps them cooler in the hot weather.
