I love this umbrella! It's large enough to protect myself and my son in our California hot weather. I use it while picking him up from school and I'd much rather use this that worry about applying sun-screen every day. I don't like the greasy feel from sun screen and so this is a much better alternative for sun protection that that. I keep it in my car as a must-have. I haven't used it for rain yet as we haven't had rain in San Diego in so long, but it's a very useful umbrella and I feel like it's made well. I love how there's this holder for the ends of the umbrella arms while it's closed so that it's more stable and firm when not it use.

I bought this about 2 years ago and i'll be buying a new one soon only because i lost my umbrella. It was perfect for shade, kept me dry from the rain even in the strongest winds, and it never turned inside out or broke down. I had a great experience all around. There is no way i could get just any old umbrella after this.

Blocks the sun and heat greatly. Some others i have build heat under (possibly UV passing thru) but this is a great Umbrella.

Bought this umbrella on the recommendation of another parent on the soccer field and love it! Blocks out the sun and let me say it has saved me many times from the hot Texas heat. Feels a lot cooler underneath and I know the rays are being properly blocked out for my family's sun protection. Definitely a trunk staple!

Living in FL, the summer sun can exhaust you even if you aren't doing anything. I bought this UV umbrella to attach behind my canvas chair. Now I (and often a friend) can sit in the shade and avoid sunburn, heat exhaustion and also the wind.

really helped me get through this hot summer. made me less tan when I was getting too much sun. I walk 10 miles a day! only felt like a dweeb until others said they should get one....

I walk my dog during the heat of the day sometimes as the suns coming up (wear flip flops and always test various pavements to make sure i'm not burning his little paws on the concrete). He's so high energy we have to go on 2-3 walks a day at least... So this was absolutely a necessity to keep us out of the sun! I also take it places like the zoo too! Every now and again I see fellow umbrella people at the zoo on a sunny day.. Haha. Others don't know what they're missing!
