I had to send this unit back because it is not the right output voltage for Lithium batteries.

I replaced my original unit from my 2003 travel trailer. I had to modify the mounting bracket to fit in my trailers smaller space, just had to bend and hammer one side flat. Installation was super easy once the old was removed. 2 wires, one positive, one negative. And the power plug. Easy to use once you fit it in its home. When my 12v heat pump would turn on before the lights would dim for a second, and possibly have a few lights slightly flashing due to low voltage. But with this new unit installed there is ZERO dimming, and a strong constant 12v supply for the rest of my RV.I should have bought this unit years ago! Any new trailer I get, I will immediately put in this inverter. It's Amazing.

If you have an RV with a WFCO converter you're going to have a failure with the charge module. Not only do they not stage down properly but eventually it will go out completely. The answer is to upgrade the converter with a PD model of your choice. Obviously picking an ample power output for your needs is the first step. I was an RV technician for over 30 years and have done numerous upgrades on converters. Take the time, do it right. Disable the charging circuit/module and put the PD in it's place. Utilize the same AC breaker for power in and use the DC lugs for power out. No need to remove the original module from the converter. Once done, you can leave the RV plugged in 100 of the time without concern of overcharging your batteries.

Needed a new converter for my rv. I had an older version in my old rv. This one works really well super quiet. Gives me a huge piece of mind with an indicator and settings for when you are in storage or using.

This company is in Michigan and they know their products and their products are built to last and good simple design.I build quick simple systems into camper vans and these are the first thing I go to to use to setup AC/DC shore power for things like charging a house battery and running a DC fridge and led lights .Instantly create a DC power center that you can pull up and plug your van in to a shore power setup and have this little unit plugged into your inside shore power circuit and voil house battery charging and DC loads on demand.Forget inverters unless you have a really big setup .. this is by far the best way to go. Set your life up on DC loads and plug the van in to charge your house battery and convert to your DC.If you need clean AC for laptop then buy dedicated mini inverter and run a circuit specifically for that

I wanted to replace the existing one with the same one the old one was a 40w this was a 45. I took the old one out and the new one went in perfectly all holes lined up. If i new beforehand that the old one was bad i would have replaced it a lot sooner.

This was a drop-in replacement for a 30A converter from 1991.I got tired of chewing through batteries with the ancient converter that would overcharge over periods of extended use. Luckily, this was an easy install - all of the connections were exactly the same as the old converter.I haven't heard any buzzing noises and the fan has yet to kick on. For the price vs. what else is out there, this is the best option for the money.

Nice unit and quiet. The chassis ground lug was to small for my chassis ground wire. Not that big of deal to fix. The two 30 amp fuses on The unit are in a stupid spot. Should be simpler to get to them. Other than that seems like a great unit I'm happy.
