Causes: Human Services
Mission: We are firefighters that offer support and give back to children battling critical illnesses. We create relationships with our Fire Buddies throughout their treatment. We visit them a few times per year and hang out for a short time playing games, catch, or pie face. We also come bearing gifts for special occasions such as birthdays, when their treatment ends, or during Christmas time.
Results: We currently have 23 chapters with 3 more on the way in the next month. We now have 110 volunteers and help numerous children in our program.

Geographic areas served: Illinois
Programs: gifts, medical devices not covered by insurance, and once in a lifetime experiences.
