Mission: Project Peanut Butter (PPB) seeks to advance the treatment of severe acute malnutrition, the single largest cause of child death in the world today, using effective, locally produced ready-to-use therapeutic foods. This nonprofit offers nutritional recovery to thousands of children in sub-Saharan Africa annually through direct services, and indirectly affects tens of thousands more by providing RUTF at cost to relief agencies, such as UNICEF and Clinton Health Access Initiative, that work with severely malnourished children.
