Quality constructed shoe. I run between size 10.5 and 11 and bought an 11 to make sure it wasn't to small. (Buying shoes mail order is always a challenge.). Turned out it ran on the large side so I would recommend ordering on the low end if you are between two sizes. Being a large man, I like the velcro. Not easy to find in a dress shoe. The shoes are comfortable but would have preferred a little more cushion. Will probably replace insoles with after-market ones.

My husband has a very, very wide foot and these shoes fit him well. The toebox also is roomy since he has hammer toes and these do not rub on inside of shoe. We really do like the shoe. The price is reasonable.

My husband used to always buy this style of shoe from New Balance. But they have changed the sizing and they aren't nearly as wide as they used to be. I have several different pairs of Propet shoes so he decided to give this brand a try and he's glad he did! They fit great, are very comfortable and very easy to put on - they're perfect for him!

At first look I thought, this isn't a wider shoe. But it fit my swollen foot with an AFO ferfect.

VERY COMFORTABLE OUT OF THE BOX. THiS IS THE 2nd pair of these I have purchased. First pair I am still wearing(though about worn out), not bad considering I take a three mile walk daily. If my math is correct that's over 3,000 miles walked in these shoes. Pretty Awesome!!

My fifth pair from Hitchcock of this shoe. Dependable. My width is 6EE but with some width-stretching I have been able to tolerate the 5EE (max offered by Hitchcock for this shoe). I have been buying shoes exclusively from Hitchcock for at least 29 years.

Best shoes we've found for my husband. The velcro makes them easy to get on and off and he says they are the most comfortable shoes he's ever had. They last a long time - this is his third pair.

This is a comfortable walking shoe (and I am female) for me because I have a wide foot and I like the velcro access. I wish the velcro ties were a little longer though, but I manage fine.

The shoe was well made and true to description. My husband's feet are swelled due to medical problems so he couldn't wear them but once the swelling goes down they should fit just fine. He is happy with the construction of the shoe.
