My husband's feet are weird. Very wide and extremely hard to find shoes to fit. We tried this Propet, and he can actually put his shoes on by himself. Trust me, that's amazing. They are not real leather, but a fairly soft padded plastic material, that makes them comfortable as well. These are the only affordable shoes that came in XX Wide width. He could actually use an even wider width, but these work pretty well. They also come up a bit higher around the ankle/heel area, and that adds stability in keeping the shoes on. Hubby is pleased with these shoes, and we'd buy them again if we need to.

I purchased these shoes gor my son to put a foot ankle brace in. He wears a size 14 wide I thought a 16 5w would work but it did not. They are very nice shoes normally would fit well and feel good.

The first thing I did was put in some powerstep insoles. I use these insoles most of my shoes for a better support. I have spent many hours wearing and walking in these shoes from hard floors to mowing the yard grass with a walk-behind mower. I can't find a fault in these so far. I like the velcro fastener; they are tight and stay tight; hold very well. Size is what I expected. The shoe looks good for casual dress and even a little formal dress.

Only down side is that they have horrible traction on wet floors. I'm in nursing so I'll be using these for backups because of no traction when wet issue.
