Better to have the magnetic one versus the non-magnetic one. Those darned tiny tacks for reupholstering get all over. And given the fact that you WILL be hammering your fingers a little bit, you may as well make one aspect easier- picking up one at a time after you knock over the jar of teeensy tiny nails. Do yourself a favor- get some beers or GT ready. This work is s tedious as it is rewarding. = good hammer.

Fairly good hammer, the strike plate was not installed correctly but with a little modification, it will suffice. A bit heavy but works in the right arena.

Excellent for working with rush weave for re-seating chairs and many other small projects. I used carpet tacks to start my rush fiber and a small precise hammer like this one is perfect for the job. I'm satisfied.
