These were purchased for use at our local community center in Glenwood, NM for use by the younger kids. Our hope was that the kids would have fun while working on coordination and motor skills. So far the kids are loving them!

I wouldn't let kids go hog wild with them because they are stapled and ANY hula hoop is not kid proof. But if adults use them or you watch the kids, they are perfect and work very well.

Bought these as party favors for my daughter's 6th birthday party. They have nice weight to them and are actually usable unlike other hoops that are so light it really doesn't function. As for the comments on the stapling job and quality etc, these are not Cadillac but you're not being charged Cadillac prices either. My daughter has been using hers for months now and it is holding up with no problem so far.

You totally get what you pay for, but they were still fun. They are very light and seem a bit flimsy, but even after a day of use by many people they have managed to last.

these are bigger than I anticipated but that's just because I have really bad size approximation abilities. Otherwise they are great, I painted them and am using them to make hanging forest chandeliers
