A solid connection. Your 1/4 plug will not rotate, but not too tight to remove. Should have been designed decades ago.

I've been playing for 20 yrs I play a PRS s2 vela. It's American made but loaded with Korean garbage. I say that because within a year I've had the tone pot and switch both went out on me.I decided to just change all the electronics out. I used a Bourne coil split tone pot, switchcraft toggle, and this pure tone jack. When I plugged it back in and played. Not only did it feel solid when I inserted the cable but the tone is actually fuller (sometimes could sound a bit clanky before) and warmer. To be honest I'm not sure which one of those 3 components I changed made the difference in tone but if I had to guess it'd be the jack.Just get it, it's $8 and installs in 10min.

Easy to install in my 2018 Epiphone Les Paul Custom Prophecy Plus GX sounds better than the stock input jack.

Not much to say .Its an input jack. Has multiple contacts for a tight fit . Works as it should .My only complaint is that it does not include a 2nd nut to adjust how far the jack sticks out of themounting plate .
