Nice microphone.. bought this to replace a microphone that came with an Ion Tailgater (that thing was broken right out of the box). Aside from not having an on/off switch, this mike is superior in every way.. Louder input, clearer sound, and a longer cord. Quite a deal.

I was surprised of the quality of this mic. I used it for recording sessions and sounded clean. I would definitely recommend to anyone to purchase this product. I did not use the unbalanced cable it came with because I had balanced cables that were better to use.

Just what we needed. Our 4-year old is a music enthusiast. He has used various 34;kids34; microphones but wanted a 34;real one34; for his birthday. We bought the Pyle-Pro Professional microphone. The microphone is used regularly and has held up well -- even with the rigors of a 4 year-old. REMINDER: you will need a speaker / amplifier.

I checked the internal connection as it has been reported these are not set for proper XLR configuration, but the Mic itself is, for real use, the supplied cable is useless (XLR to 1/434;), but works fine with a proper XLR/XLR cable, have not A/B with a real SM58, but other reviews on YouTube show it is slightly hotter and slightly better on the higher frequencies. Bought on the premise that I have now already bought 3 PDMIC78's and are very pleased with them.

I didn't know what to expect, until I felt the weight of the package, when I picked it out of the box. For the low price, this was a well built and rather sturdy microphone. The sound quality and overall performance exceeded my initial expectations.

I have bought many many mics! I didnt want to fork out the money for a high end mic, this one is just as good and much much cheaper. I've had it for quite awhile now and its still going strong. Most of the mics I have bought over the years have crapped out on my after a few months.
