Very reasonabley priced subwoofer and very loud. This was a Christmas 2022 present for Hubby and he loves it. He has it hooked up to an amplifier with a toggle switch to easily turn it off as to not disturb the neighbors. He hasn't had any issues. If something changes, I will update my review. Hope this review helps and happy shopping, all.

This little guy hits! I have it free-air into my trunk, mounted in rear deck of a 2011 Crown Vic. The basket is plastic, so you have to use pan-head screws with washers. Small headed screws will pull right through the plastic. Not going to win any bass competitions, but it is super clear and punchy. I am powering it with the sub channel of a Cerwin Vega CVP2500.5D Performance Series 5-Channel amp. couldn't be happier!

i purchased these speakers to replace some kenwoods subs i recently had and i must say that i am very much surprised how well these sounded. i honestly didn't think that they would compare as far as sound but i was amazed how loud these subs got. It literally had my vehicle vibrating. Never thought out of all the brands that pyle had that much kick, i can honestly say i was dead wrong. One of the best purchases as far as sub speakers i have made in a while!! Great Product!!

Used this to replace the blown Mark Levinson subwoofer on my Lexus GX470. The dual 4ohm voice coils allow for 8ohm wiring for the factory amplifier! Minor trimming of the plastic basket allowed for a perfect fit into the factory enclosure.

well l went with 15in subs cause l like the way they feel, however they don't play up high to capture the mid vocals. l had 6.5in mid base but they burned out a couple of times. l now have two of these 8in in each door for mid bass and have 4in mids in rear deck that reflect off of the rear window with 1in tweeters and now the system sounds real full l love it !!!

400w rms amp turned down, voice coil cooked right away. I don't expect much for $50 but it should at least be able to use it.

Has a deep rich sound along with added new sound's to previously listened to songs. Clear bass response at low frequency without distortion. Easy to install and loving the spring clips, well worth the money. Looking forward to buying a second one soon.

I had a set of klipsch kg 4.2 tower speakers that had blown active and passive subs and because I'm a old school bass head system enthusiasts I know a thing or 2 about subwoofers so getting back to my story I painted my klipsch kg 4.2 speakers piano black and bought a couple cheap DVC (dual voice coil) subs I didn't want them to compete with the airspace in the speaker cabinet so I took a board and I divided up the the air space evenly by placing the board in the center where the speakers go and glued the board and with some liquid nails I then drilled a hole in the board and run the negative wire down to the 2nd subwoofer on the bottom Then I hooked both speakers up so that they are running at 8 ohms you can look up a diagram on how to do so I kid you not I don't care what anybody says negative about these subs of all the years I've been doing this as a hobby i tested these out when i was done and played Desire by Bob scaggs and David paich ( high end hq audio track the one on YouTube with the marantz thumbnail) these subs sound sound amazing THEY RUMBLE I live in a 3 family apartment and the lady downstairs who is a elderly woman hard-of-hearing called me up to ask me where all the noise was coming from her living room chair was literally shaking and she had to turn the volume up on our TV I blamed the noise on the 3rd floor tenant Because he is known for playing his music loud LOL all I'm saying is when hooked up correctly and properly braking them in (50-100hrs of using them on a moderate volume) will produce some amazing lows all day o can't stand reading reviews where people say the blow the speakers on a 1000 watt amp you have to understand that1000 watts is a quick burst (peak) and 500 watts is a continuous volume at 500 watts (rms) in my honest opinion these are half of what they are advertised 250 watts rms 500 peak at the end of the day I wish I can demonstrate these for everyone reading this review I'm confident that I'd impress everyone one of you period

One thing that threw me off was that it was entirely made of plastic so be careful screwing it into your box. The coil dust cap holes whistle when at moderate to loud volume (I ripped the cover off and the whistle went away). Otherwise it sounds pretty good and can produce some deep bass for its size.
