Used this to replace the subwoofer in my 2000 suburban 2500. Wired the 4 ohm DVC for 2 ohm, a little modification to fit it in and BOOM!Well, maybe more of a boom! HAHA!Sounds great! Really way better than stock and brings the system to life.

I bought this sub thinking it would sound somewhat nice as I'm running the same 6.5 components in my doors and they sound awesome. Put it in the box wired it to 2 ohm and it sounded nice for about 2 min. My amp only puts out 800 watts rms at full tilt and I had my amp turned down to quarter of the power. Sub was 200 watts below rms wattage and fried after 2 min of playing at low volume. My 10 inch subs hit way harder then this 15. Will not buy another.

I have always liked Pyle driver these dealers sound great for the price I figured they would be ok but great speakers

Great replacement for the factory 8 inch sub in my tahoe. I wired it down to 2 ohm and it sounds amazing. Plenty of bass for that system. Recommend!

I bought 2 8in subs and did not expect alot out of them. I was wrong, they are free air installed (hatch cover) and I am running 150w to the pair in parallel. I expected to have about the bass of a stock premium system. They are much louder than that. If you're chasing SPL dreams then these aren't for you, but for many people these will far exceed what they wanted (one would have sufficed for my application). Alpine amp gain is at 30ish, and subs were getting pushed hard at 80 gain. Guessing 100 to 150w range is where they are comfortable. UPDATE: I have bought a second pair for a different vehicle. These are in sealed boxes and have 150w RMS 2OHM. Pyle recommends a .88 cubic ft sealed box. Very loud between 200hz and 50hz. Sound level drops off below 45hz.

I purchased two PLPW8D and built ported enclosures to be installed in my 2007 Psion TC. My car stereo just needed a little more punch, and the speakers delivered perfectly at a very reasonable price! I’m very pleased with the sound that these small subwoofers produce.

I push these with a peavy 100 watt PA head. I play bass and guitar thru them. They have all the bottom I need and the guitar is warm in tone which is what I like. Very clean.

2021 this is one of the best 15’s you could possibly get I bought two of these to get me through until my scar 15’s came in I was impressed the speakers are actually very good

Worked good for about 2 months, then stopped working, I thought it was a wiring issue, but I checked everything out and everything was fine.Installed a known good subwoofer, and all was fine, speaker was blown out. The subwoofer was set up on an original 03 ford focus sound system, it was not overloaded at all, just stopped working one day

This 12 inch Pyle Power subwoofer is much better than I thought it would be for this price. I’m using it as the subwoofer in my home surround sound system. I built a ported box for it and it is working nicely. I’ve got a true 100 watts going to it and it’s set to handle everything below 150hz. It sounds good and I’ve had no problems with it after 2 months.
