It's OK. I wish it was louder.

I came back from surgery and was bed-bound. We bought one of those silver ding-ding-ding hotel desk bells but because of hearing loss my husband couldn't hear it at all. He heard this! Next stop, family reunions for announcements.

Used the battery powered megaphone for a group tour of 40 and it worked quite well. Price is certainly right. No issues with D cell batteries or closures. Not that awkward nor heavy to carry around for an hour or so. Glad I bought it.

We have a 15 passenger van and it is so hard to talk to people in the back of the van without yelling (because of distance, road noise, others talking music on, etc)! This solves that problem. Not only is this loud enough to easily talk to everyone in the van, but the siren is great for getting attention, and the music is very annoying (which is a great bribe to get people to settle down). We also tried the PMP20 model first and it was not powerful enough, even though I liked the size better.

We have an older version that is much better. The only problem is that the battery compartment does not fit quite as tight as it should. The batteries lose contact and create static. I sometimes have to hold it tight for best results. The old PMP40 is great.

Great product. Very loud, but adjustable sound level gives you the perfect volume. Having fun scaring my family and the neighbors.

It's okay but very heavy given that it takes 6 D batteries. Better to get something else that is lighter.

As a community activist, this is just what I was looking for. The megaphone is not too heavy and is loud and clear. Great price as well. I purchased 2!

The Item Description Says Six 34;C34; Batteries. This works off of 34;D34; batteries. $18 worth of non-returnable batteries later... C'mon, folks. Otherwise, this thing is pretty awesome. The hand-held microphone leaves something to be desired, but the alarm/music and speaking features work really well.

Megaphone came in fairly quickly and was nicely wrapped in the proper box and wrap, I had to run to the store to get batterys but in the end I loved using this product at my security job it came in handy for mutiple things as riot control or even getting the attention of civllians, The siren is loud and the megaphone is deathly loud it'll get done what you need it to, I recommend this product!

Love it! The only thing wrong is after a couple months I need to buy a new plug in mic. It was pretty cheap. Other than that- it's perfect for preaching the gospel!

Best $20 ever spent. This thing is loud and perfect for my sons birthday party I was able to get everyone attention with out having to shout so much. Saved me a headache for sure.

This is GREAT! So cheap, so powerful, and apparently rugged, plus with its own hand mic so you can hold the bullhorn high above your head for better projection. Plus you can play built in sirens, or even your own music over it.

Worked pretty well for our large family reunion to get people together for the games and to make announcements. I just wish it would have a rechargeable battery rather than the D's but understand that this probably isn't good for most other people's use. The batteries just made it a little heavy but all in all I thought it was a good deal.

I purchased this for my RC racing team. We use it to announce laps to the racers because it is so hard to hear over the nitrous RC cars. It works very well and solved our lap counting problem. This thing is very loud, we love the siren on it. Last month a wire in the handheld mic came off. It was fairly easy to open it up and resolder it back on.

It does work fine. The hand-mike is poorly connected. Not a very good design for that. It broke on the first use. But, not only that, I've been in contact with the company numerous times about replacing it, even ordering a replacement mike. I've yet to receive it. If you order this, it should work fine. Don't trust the hand-mike, though. It will work, but the connection is flimsy at best.
