First off you will need an extension ring to mount the switch in an electrical box. you'll have to be very careful stripping the wires, the terminals are super shallow which means if you're not careful there will be a strand or two poking out of the terminal, not good for your amp. i have 14 gauge speaker wire and had to trim it down to get it in the terminals. i use it to split the patio and pool speakers, i can't see it lasting the season.
