This item worked as described for 1 week. I kept it in my backpack and now the only feature that works now is amplifying my voice. So, no record playback, no siren. My neighbor has the more powerful bigger one, and it has stopped working altogether.

The previous Plye PMP35R bit the dust, so I ordered a new one. This one is much lighter even with batteries in it and around your neck. I use it for marching band. My voice now cuts through the drum line easily. All of the members can here the clicks I make on the cowbell while using it. I like that is has rubber around the bells, so I can set it down without damaging the plastic. The handle is foldable incase you need to throw it in your back pack.
