This hard hat is a good purchase for the money. I do not wear it for a long time, but for the short duration it feels fine around the head without any discomfort. Made of sturdy material so I am hoping it will last a long time.

This is a great yellow hard hat. Used for a video shoot and it is legit.

For the price, this helmet (plus the safety glasses I always wear) should do the job for me working in my yard while protecting me from being stuck (or impaled) in the head or other upper body parts by long needle-thorns which some of my overhead bushes tend to grow. I can't give it a 5-star rating due to the difficult directions printed on the plastic bag (and barely readable, instead of a paper instruction sheet which would have been far easier to read). I never could find the knob or ratchet mentioned in the instructions. I have to assume that reference was meant for a different model helmet. But for the money, I'd say it will do what I need it to do.

If it's your head professionally, go MSA. But they were out of the size and color I needed, and for consumer or loaner, or so on, this seems like it'll do fine.The shell is clearly thinner or cheaper somehow, as it's a bit translucent, but is as rigid when pushing with your hands, or dropping it, as any normal bump helmet.The suspension is fine, adjusts as easy as any non-dial style, maybe easier. There is no adjustment for the crown straps which makes it less optimal to adjust.There are a few reviews that complain about having to assemble it. Yes. Like ALL helmets. It is a bit weird, in that a very un-obvious smaller part of the side clips go into the slots and they are hard to insert, and the part you press is sharp, but unless assembling a dozen at a time, it is fine.Note that instructions are on the bag. Not great instructions, you still need to figure out what part goes into what, but that's just slow not impossible.Decent enough if you have budget issues. No serious concerns about it for the cost and availability.

Can be a little uncomfortable if worn for a long time, but well made nonetheless.

I was banging my head in a crawl space we used fo storage. This hat prevented multiple contusions! Probably not industrial grade, but a good value for my limited use.

These are very light helmets so the protection they will allow is minimal. They fit ok but are definitely very basic in function and fit when compared to the ones I used back in my welding days. But they will get me on job sites but I will definitely not go into areas where a possible head trauma from even a medium sized object could take place. The price matches the quality.
