Quality tool. Newer Nissan's have axle nuts that are machine staked and difficult to clearance when removing. I had damaged threads on the axle and this quickly cleaned them up. Outside drive is 46 mm but I used a pipe wrench

My application for this die was the threads on ball joints which I mangled because I'm impatient - this did the job of sorting out some threads that just wouldn't bite. Lessons learned and a handy tool for when I eventually do the same thing again.

Bought this to chase and clean up threads on a pressure vessel (pool filter) threaded joint clamp. Did exactly what it was supposed to at a fraction of the cost of replacement parts for the clamp assembly.

Good for a quick fix. Use only for cleaning up threads, not for cutting new threads.

It performed as it was designed. I reused some bolts that were sunk in concrete and used this tool to straighten out a couple threads. Sadly its one of those tool that you need to use one in a while a long while.

This brought my bmw axles that were rounded off and on there way to the junk yard till I found this . Cleaned my threads right up and on my way drifting and racing I went . It saved me a couple hundred dollars

Bought this for stripped bmw cv axle shaft. Took some strength but it rethreaded it very well. Would definitely recommend for bmw techs.
