Bought this to chase the heat bolt threads on my vw 1.6d. This fit the thread perfect and cleaned them up nice. Good quality and nice little holder to keep the edges sharp

Cut good when used by hand. Cut too good when used in drill and broke one off all but flush with the pilot hole. That's why I got the Value Pack.

Tech had a rough going getting a stud out. We resized it with a drill, threaded the aluminum block with this, and got a car back on the road.

Needed this when replacing head gasket on 95 Chevy S10. Used it re-tap the holes. it was basically just removing old thread lock but it worked exactly like I needed it to. made perfect clean threads for new bolts. m11x1.5 is impossible to find in a store apparently.
