I dont have an SDS drill- Ill have to rent one to utilize this bit. It appears to be a formative tool.

I threaded about 5 inches of hole before she got slow. Was able to touch up with angle grinder a few times and get another 5 inches of tapping. I was impressed that the tap didn't require much backing up to break the cutting, was able to drive ahead for many turns at a time.

ordered a pack of 12 taps. assumed they would all be right hand. some of them were left hand and useless.
