Nephew bought a bike that had a crank arm with messed up threads, so I ordered this tap to fix the issue and got it delivered next day. Don’t know when I’ll need left hand 1/2”-13 threads again, but I’m ready when it comes up. Great product.

Resetting heads on an LS engine uses stretch bolts and requires chasing the bolt holes with a metric 11x2 tap. Bigger than any tap in my metric set so bought this one. Works well.

This was needed to rethread the cast iron used on the engine. I couldn't remove the old sensor with an easy-out after the sensor snapped off. I drilled out the old ECT, vacuumed up the metal particles, and the Tap worked perfectly.

ordered 7/8-14 Left and Right thread tap for chasing the threads of a weld-in threaded inserts.the threads were not very bad before running the tap, just needed to clean where the heat distorted them alittle. but both taps took out abit too much metal and now the threads have some slop in them.the left hand thread went in fine to the point it was easy to spin by hand. but when removing it it chipped and was a pain to remove. luckily the threads are salvageable but shows the tap is cheap metal

I had a very old Brown and Sharpe 2 micrometer that had been in my tool box and not used a long time. Regrettably, I should have had it oiled better it got some rust and did not turn as well as it should have. I disassembled it and used this tap to run the threads. It worked fantastic. The old mic it working perfectly. It was my Grandpas so I am very happy this was fixable.

Pool anchors seize sometimes and have to be drilled out. THey use an odd thread pitch and this is a must to rethread them. Good price , quality, and value

Very durable and very sharp works super well needed to fix threads on a Steel Shock Mount for a 2000 4runner little bit of pb blaster and this tap and 2 minutes threads were fixed and working well very good tap for the price and Great brand and company well worth the small cost they are I also got the Die as well and a die for m14x1.25 also all work good need to grab a m14x1.25 tap soon all in all very happy with this rap quality is superb the accuracy is spot on and it will last for ages I'm sure as long as it's properly used and taken care of great Purchase for the price

I purchased an inexpensive car top rack for my 2006 beater Honda Accord from ebay. The rack is adequate for my purpose. All the included bolts are metric M8-1.25. One knob is strangely M8-1.0. Not to make it a deal-breaker I re-tapped the knob. Problem solved.

Used it today to tap out a Mossberg Maverick 88 12ga. receiver.I used it chucked into my drill press unplugged turning by hand, with a little mibro cutting oil and it made clean precise threads. It's made in China but it sure works super nice. 5 stars.Will probably order a couple more without hesitation.Drill America!!!!
