I needed a 1 bit for metal to massage a 15/16 hole in a tractor stabilizer piece out to 1. This bit worked fine. I simply do not know about durability and longevity but based on the price I'm assuming if I'm drilling thru flat, mild steel I'll need to use a slow RPM and plenty of cutting fluid.

Huge burrs on the cutting edge, center was off 0.040, cutting relief only went partway back on the drill.Don't waste your time.

I used it pence to enlarge a hole in 1” thick cast aluminum and it worked just fine for that but otherwise I can't speak to the long term durability or if it takes a re-sharpen well or not. Good affordable bit for one-off job.
