Mission: Quantum House is a caring and supportive home that lessens the burden for families whose children are receiving treatment in Palm Beach County for a serious medical condition. The House has been “where hope has a home®” for families since it opened its doors in 2001 and maintains the distinction of being the only house of its kind between Miami and Orlando.

Results: For every family with a child who must receive medical treatment in Palm Beach County, it’s Quantum House’s purpose to be home. Quantum House is uniquely positioned in our community to serve families as they cope with a child’s medical crisis. The Family Care Program takes care of lodging, meals and a host of family services to make Quantum House home.

Target demographics: serve families who have children with a serious medical condition and are in Palm Beach County to receive medical care.

Direct beneficiaries per year: more than 1,500 family members per year.

Geographic areas served: West Palm Beach

Programs: Provided a facility for guests to stay while their children were treated at nearby community medical centers.
