This is one of the best fitness items on the market. The pro/commercial grade version is highly recommended. As a trainer, it is one of the most valued tools in my gym. My clients love this system. Everything from toe to neck can benefit.

Bought the BOSU for my daughter. She's a physical therapist and familiar with the product from her work. She was very happy to receive it and has been using it ever since. It is great for working core muscles. It can be used with the flat side down when you begin. If that becomes old hat, flip it over and start working with the ball side down. It takes a lot of balance and practice on this side. Best core work out available. Great product at a reasonable price.

I am a group fitness instructor. I first tried a Bosu ball at a fitness class. What a challenge ! I later used one in therapy after foot surgery. I was sold on Bosu for muscle strength and balance.

At the gym I used the BOSU on and off. At physical therapy, they showed me how to use it to get an effective cardio, core and stability workout. I am hooked. It is easy to assemble - follow the directions. The video is good to get you started but you may not be ready for even the easiest that they show. It is hard but the results are swift. The best part is that once you know what to do, it is always challenging. I am a tiny 53 year old woman who needs to practice stability and I am in good shape. This is great. EDon't forget to use both sides and always wear proper foot gear.

The product, first of all is well made and durable. The amount of exercises for your entire body, especially your core, are virtually endless. Both I and my clients love it!

Even though my trainer has come up with some abusive exercises using this Bosu, I can't blame the Bosu and I must say that it is a versatile, durable product (so far, anyway. I've had it for about 6 mos). After reading the reviews about the "home" version of this equipment, I decided to pay a little extra and get the professional one. I like it and it is just like the ones in the gym. It came with a book(let) and dvd of exercise suggestions, but I haven't used them because (as I said) I rely on my trainer, but it seems to be well made and it looks like the manufacturer spent some time putting the book together. Well done.Excellent product offering challenging exercise options.

Exceptional quality, very sturdy. The last 'bosu' ball we purchased for our clinic lived a short life. We feel very confident that this BOSU Pro Basic will hold up much better.

First off, I must note that I did some research prior to investing in this...those who have had issues with product separating from base have overinflated their bosu. Read instructions prior to inflation and it will explain this. A friend who is a personal trainer (who talked me into investing in the bosu) said even working the Bosu with all clients she hadn't had the issue EVER so I trusted the info to be accurate and took the leap. Glad I did!It is a rare day I use the words "fun" and "workout" in the same sentence but this sure gels those two oxymorons together. It is great fun and, according to my heart rate monitor, gave me one major workout when I did the dvd or use it on it's ownBut better yet? The time flew by! I loved using it and...wow, it's like skiiing...those who ski know you utilize muscles you can't in any other way via the movements that aren't the "norm". Same thing here. I work out daily yet the first time I used the bosu the next day I felt that I had one great workout with muscles aching (in a good way) that I never had used before.I gave away my aerobic step after using my bosu a few times. This is so much better. Now I use the bosu during any workout dvd that calls for a step. Not only do you utilize more muscles during your workouts (and all new muscle built burns extra calories...win/win) but the trampline-like feel makes it fun and the dome shape adds a core and balance workout that you'd never get otherwise. There are a few gadgets I invested in this year that I kiss myself for being smart enough to get and this is one. (my kindle comes in second)the best part is I use it during many of my other workout dvds now just to burn more calories and use more muscles...AND it takes so many workout moves up a notch. Like ab moves...you are no longer hindered by the floor so you can lean across the bosu to do crunches and work twice as many muscles because of the range of motion, push ups with the bosu turned upside down works more of your core because you engage more muscles when doing the moves. (plus it makes it way more fun...whenver my workout dvds instruct me to go to the floor for plank or pushups or ab work I do them on the bosu!)love it! A great "fitness toy"!!(p.s. I do extensive reading and research before buying anything...especially when it comes to fitness...explore the web and fitness magazines. This is, without question, universally a positive addition to whatever you are using now.)

I've been working out with high intensity for years, and I'm always looking for new tools/methods to reach that ever next higher level. After adding my BOSU to the mix, the performance bar was raised across the board. Whether standing on it to lift weights, or performing body weight movements (pushups, squats, lunges) - all of the stability muscles are forced to fire. This creates a positive synergy throughout any movement, causing you to burn more calories by working more muscles. This is a must-have for any aspiring athlete - or anyone looking to take their personal game up to the next level.

This is the exact same one you will find at your gym. Very high quality, much better than the home version. I strongly recommend this BOSU to anyone looking to buy one.

Bosu seems to be very sturdy. Excellent for improving your balance. Took it to my personal trainer and he has come up with many ideas for how to use it. Glad I bought it!

My workout place has these balls as part of an exercise program. I bought this one so I could use it at home. I used to get lower back aches--core problems--and this ball has made all of the difference in the world. After using it, my backaches have disappeared. My husband has also been using it with the same results.

Excellent price for a valuable piece of exercise eqpt. I use it as part of a program designed to increase core strength and balance after major back surgery - it's terrific, a perfect compliment to the balance ball (a/k/a physio ball). I used the Bosu Ball in physical therapy and shopped around for the best pricing I could find on a Bosu Ball to use at home. It comes with a booklet of exercises to do - more can be found on the net - and to kick it up a notch, get a second Bosu Ball and use both at the same time. For more of a challenge after you have the basics mastered, flip it over, NOW try!

The Bosu Ball is an excellent piece of exercise equipment for anyone and everyone. One should be careful when beginning to use this product as you will tend to fall off of it. I suggest using it on carpet, rug, or exercise mat. Also, children, older adults, OR ANYONE who has severe balancing difficulties should have a partner to spot them, that is, let them hold your hand or your arm for stability. Never leave them alone when they are using the BOSU. The BOSU Ball is not a toy, and hence, should not be used as one. When I took an excercise class for fun, they had BOSU Balls available for us. I became determined to master this piece of equipment, and therefore, I practiced with it during every class. All you need to do is practice with it for 10 to 15 minutes a day (less if that suits you) and gradually, you become pretty good at mastering several of the excercises (and there are NUMEROUS ways to use the BOSU).My mother is 80, and she was thrilled when the BOSU arrived. I had taken video of myself while practicing using it in class. Mom and I use it daily (Mom needs my assistance), and WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. It seems pricey; however, it is well worth the money. True BOSU's are very durable and easy to inflate (Mom and I use the hand pump). This product should last for years if taken care of and used properly.

I bought the Bosu Balance Trainer because I have noticed in recent years that my balance is not as good as it once was (I'm in my 70s). I use it every morning while watching the news on TV. Been following the steps specified in the directions for becoming comfortable with it and I am improving. It is so convenient to be able to pick it up and put it where you want it. The quality is excellent. It took a few tries to blow it up and get the plug in the hole as fast as possible, but I succeeded.I love my Bosu. It is exactly what I had wanted.
