Easy to use, inexpensive enough to stash one at work as well as at home, small enough to keep in a pocket, a purse, or a deskdrawer.

I'm an avid hunter, and this is by far a must have! Best sharpener you can own, three sweeps on the white, three on the black, and your done! One knife for anything when your carrying this!

Good sharpener for quick touch ups. I like it because it's small and light weight and stashes in my pack easily. It does a good job as long as you don't expect a razors edge

Quick and easy. Make sure to be very accurate when pulling a blade through and no need to go fast or use a lot of pressure. Let the tool do the work. Between each use I slide a towel edge through both sides to clean up the metal filings left

Very small and light weight. Purchased for a bug out bag. Have never used, but lightweight functional design is fully apparent. This is designed as a mini AccuSharp which I use frequently. It is 75% of the size and weight of an AccuSharp. Prices are similar.

Good for touch-up and restoring the sheen to a blade. Not sufficient if the blade is really dull or the edge is rolled, though.

I own several Lansky sharpeners. I carry this bad boy in my EDC/hunting pack.<br /><br />I use it more than my other sharpeners. If you carry a knife, this is the perfect companion.

For everyday sharpening of moderately priced knives such as kitchen cutlery, I was really surprised how quick & effective this is, well worth the price. Has a slightly different sharpening angle than the Smith's CCKS, they're cheap so buy them both!

It's not going to get you a perfect knife edge, BUT it's not supposed to. What it will do is quickly, easily, anywhere you want, put a very serviceable edge on almost any camp or craft style knife. It will put a nice edge on most kitchen knives, but the preset angles aren't set for the finer edges of kitchen knives, so you have to work a bit for that usage. It's got carbide and ceramic sticks built in to get you from s*** to shiny in a few pulls on each side. Remember to go as few strokes as possible on the carbide side, as it eats a lot of metal off your knives.

Sharpens D2 steel easier than stones. Wide enough for most axe heads which are 2 specialized things I use it for.
